Copacabana is in Rio's South Zone and is one of the city's best-known neighborhoods, famous for its white-sand beach and the black-and-white wave-patterned Portuguese pavement promenade. The area has lively nightlife, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, and is close to Copacabana Fort and Sugarloaf Mountain.

From here it is also easy to reach other attractions, such as Christ the Redeemer.

The apartment is at Rua Bulhões de Carvalho, 604. Several bus lines run nearby, and taxis and apps (Uber and 99) are easy to find. There is no dedicated parking space in the building, but paid car parks are nearby.

Santos Dumont is about 25 minutes by car, Galeão 40 to 50 minutes and Novo Rio bus station about 30 minutes.
